Scot’s ham radio activities have varied significantly since being licensed in 1984 — from DXing, PacketCluster node owner, to SSB and CW contesting, to RTTY. Recently, he has been more focused on DXpeditions and maintaining a site dedicated to WriteLog, a contesting program written by W5XD.
He is past President of the Four Lakes Amateur Radio Club and is currently a member of the Society of Midwest Contesters, the Western Washington DX Club and the Cinco Nueve Contest Group.
