The K9JY Ham Radio site is dedicated to Amateur Radio, that unique hobby that provides a great range of activities centered around communicating through radio waves. In addition, the K9JY WriteLog User Site offers instructional materials for setting up, operating, and reporting using the contest software WriteLog.

Many visitors to the site come for the WriteLog information, but, over time, I hope that people will also come here to learn about ham radio itself.
