Only in ham radio can we put up random letters in a title and have it mean something specific to readers…but I digress.
I was able to spend an hour and a half or so this weekend on the contest — and had a great time. With my pipsqueak station and antenna, I mostly worked Japan and the United States as that was the ideal time for working JA’s here on 20-meters from the West Coast.
Was it a record-breaking killer score? Nope. But it was a lot of fun. Exactly what the hobby is meant to do on a nice weekend in February.
